Logging out of your account while the Amber "Offline Cache Queue" warning is active.
Technical Reality: Security protocols purge local device memory caches when you log out to protect client data. If you log out before the amber queue uploads, your field work entries, photos, and logged hours are permanently deleted.
⚠ Forced Background Termination
Force-quitting the application during an active database sync cycle.
Technical Reality: Can cause local file database corruption that prevents the app from booting back up cleanly. Never force-kill during an active sync.

Field Application: Closing a Work Ticket Safely

When completing your final maintenance tasks and preparing to close a work order:

  1. Check the upper status header to determine your current network visibility (green dot vs. amber triangle).
  2. Complete all required numeric entry fields in the data log.
  3. Tap the camera field to capture a high-contrast photo of the completed work area.
  4. Review the Safety Verification sub-menu to confirm the LOTO closure timestamp updated correctly.
  5. Tap FINAL SUBMIT at the bottom of the active panel.
  6. Sync Check: If the screen shows an amber warning, leave the app open and running in the background.
  7. Move to a location with signal (exterior wall, ground level, building entrance).
  8. Tap the user icon to access the manual sync profile interface.
  9. Tap SYNC NOW and hold steady while progress completes.
  10. Confirm the status header transitions to a solid green dot before packing your device.
